Abhishek`s comedy in `Bol Bachchan

 Rohit Shetty`s `Bol Bachchan` was screened for Bollywood Thursday. The guest liked the slapstick comedy as well as Ajay Devgn and others performances, but Abhishek impressed them the most. The film has hit screens Friday.

Kunal Kohli: It was absolutely hilarious. I think Rohit Shetty and team have done an outstanding job. Abhishek is phenomenal, Ajay is also fantastic. Everyone has done a great job. I was laughing so much, my jaws are still hurting.

Ashutosh Gowariker: Very good, a riotous film, very funny. I think Ajay and Abhishek are brilliant in the film. The entire cast is brilliant but I found Abhishek outstanding.

Suniel Shetty: Mind blowing! Abhishek`s best performance. Abhishek at his best and I was reminded of Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan) in his young days. Ajay is also fantastic. The whole film is outstanding and according to me, it should be the year`s biggest grosser. I don`t believe in Rs.100 crore or Rs.200 crore, but it is a true entertainer.
Prakash Jha: It`s sheer madness, lovely, brilliant film. He (Rohit Shetty) has surpassed his `Golmaal`.
Meanwhile, Abhishek is overwhelmed with the response.
"So far the response has been fantastic. You can see I am smiling. I am very, very happy that initial screenings have gone well. The audience will watch it now and fingers crossed," the 36-year-old said at the screening.

When told that his work is being appreciated the most, Abhishek said: "Thank you for saying this. I hope the audience also loves it. Everyone has worked hard and it feels great when you ask such questions."
The film also stars Asin Thottumkal and Prachi Desai.

Duggu, this source tells us, is all set to work with SLB on his newest venture: A boy-meets-girl story set in Europe. “Hrithik had an action-packed outing in Agneepath, and the stunts in Krrish 2 have been intense. So when Sanjay offered him a sweet romantic flick, Hrithik couldn’t think of saying no,” our source said.
Our source adds that work on the project will begin once Duggu wraps up his commitments for Krrish 2 and Sanjay sees his sister Bela Sehgal’s film, Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi, to completion.

Mumbai, July 5 (IANS) Nadir Shah Patel, father of the missing Bollywood starlet Laila Khan, Thursday challenged the claim of her step-father Parvez Iqbal Tak that the actress, along with four of her family members, was killed near Mumbai in 2011.Speaking to a private news channel here, Patel said he did not "believe" Tak's claim that Laila, her mother Saleena Begum, siblings Zara, Imran, cousin Reshma and a domestic help were allegedly killed and their bodies disposed of somewhere around Mumbai in February 2011.Patel was responding to revelations Tak made before Jammu and Kashmir Police, which provided vital leads in her missing case.Tak, who married Saleena Begum after she divorced her husband Nadir Shah Patel, was arrested last month in Kishtwar, about 230 km from Jammu. He is suspected to be a Lashkar-e-Taiba militant.Patel said if what Tak claims was true, the Mumbai police should register a first information report and investigate the case.The Mumbai police denied any knowledge on the alleged murders, though a team was likely to leave for Jammu soon for further investigation.Last month, a police team went to Jammu to probe the case which has strong Mumbai and Maharashtra connections.Patel said Tak and his partner Asif Sheikh came regularly to their Santacruz home and he always felt uneasy in their presence."I always used to caution my family members to beware of them, I found their behavior suspicious, but they did not heed to me," Patel said.He admitted that the Tak-Sheilah duo was planning to dupe him in some property matters as Tak was found with a fake PAN card bearing his name (Patel's) name.Referring to a mysterious fire a few months ago which partly damaged their bungalow in Igatpuri, a hill-station in Maharashtra's Nashik district, around 130 km from Mumbai, Patel contended that there could a link between Laila and her family's disappearance and the fire, but declined to elaborate.Mumbai police Crime Branch Tuesday registered a kidnapping case against Tak. Patel said he was called by police for that.Laila, whose original name is Reshma Patel, was last seen in a Hindi movie "Wafaa" with Rajesh Khanna in 2008.According to sources, the Mumbai police found Laila to have questionable connections, which allegedly led to her disappearance from Mumbai in 2011.After tracking her mobile phone, her last call records showed her to be at her farm house in Igatpuri.Sources claimed that Laila was close to suspected Lashkar militant Tak through a Bangladesh-based suspected terrorist Munir Khan, whom she allegedly married.Jammu and Kashmir's Deputy Inspector General of Police Gareeb Das said that Tak, who said sharpshooters had been hired to kill Laila and her family, had been cooperating with interrogators and gradually revealing information on the case.

The Pakistani model-turned-actor almost always makes headlines for the wrong reasons. She is back again with her split personality remark as her debut Bollywood film 'Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai' is ready to be released this Friday. What is interesting is that she plays a double role in the film.
No wonder Veena is now leveraging her screen name and her passport name to talk about her split personality in the media.She has been quoted by news agency IANS as saying: "I have a split personality. Veena Malik was born when I was 10 years old. Zahida Malik's personality is very elusive, quiet.
"Veena is a very different person. I have pulled Zahida out of wrong relationship. Veena is a brave person. She hardly cries. She is a very strong person. I am so thankful to my studies like psychology that helped me understand myself. I am two people at one," she told the the agency.

Brilliant director Ekta Kapoor, whose latest production venture Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum is under the scrutiny of Censor Board, says whatever she does is considered cheap.

The 37-year-old TV mogul is miffed with Censor Board's decision to delete three scenes from the film's theatrical trailer, which will hit theaters with Ajay Devgan starrer Bol Bachchan. "Anything that Balaji does or a mainstream maker does is always being considered to be cheap and crass. If  Dibakar had made this film it would have got a totally different response from Censor Board. We always suffer such prejudices,she is angry with censor board.
