Team Guzaarish to reunite
Guzaarish was supposed to be The Next Best Thing to happen to Bollywood. Hrithik Roshan’s portrayal of a paraplegic in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “labour of love” was supposed to be the role of a lifetime.
And perhaps it was, for Duggu sure did win plenty of appreciation for his role. But when it came to box office success, well, it was cruelly elusive. Small wonder then, that most people assumed Duggu would never consent to working with SLB ever again.
But that’s so not true, as a khabru informed us recently. Duggu, this source tells us, is all set to work with SLB on his newest venture: A boy-meets-girl story set in Europe. “Hrithik had an action-packed outing in Agneepath, and the stunts in Krrish 2 have been intense. So when Sanjay offered him a sweet romantic flick, Hrithik couldn’t think of saying no,” our source said.
Our source adds that work on the project will begin once Duggu wraps up his commitments for Krrish 2 and Sanjay sees his sister Bela Sehgal’s film, Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi, to completion.
